Giorgio Armani Cosmetics

Global fashion designer, Giorgio Armani launched the Armani cosmetics line in their flagship store on Fifth Avenue. The company wanted to use plasma screens to integrate high-end fashion and cosmetics with the newest retail technology.

Armani dedicated retail space for their cosmetic line and wanted to attract shoppers there for clothing to the cosmetic area using striking audio-visual elements. These included six 42" plasma screens, video walls, and 37" to 50" plasma screens.

Ovation's responsibilities included custom content programming, service and maintenance for the cosmetic display programs.

Able Planet

Shopper's prefer to see a commercials instore that quickly explain the benefits of a product.

By embedding a custom circuit board connected to a LCD panel in the display, shoppers get to "hear the difference" between all three Able Planet headphones. When the headphones are worn and the start button pressed they see a video describing the specific benefits and features of each headset.

Lab Series

Men aren't prone to asking for skin care help. By using a 14" touch screen LCD panel and UPC scanner, they can learn about Lab Series product features and benefits in an engaging way. This increases sales and gives Aramis greater insight into how their customers think.

All bilingual content on the display is remotely updatable and Aramis receives daily reportsvia 24/ 7 web access.

Dick's

Engaging consumers and getting them to spend more time in store is one of the greatest challenges facing retailers today.

Dick's Sporting Goods selected Ovation to design and integrate a scalable AV program to roll out nationwide. The goal was to create the ultimate sports environment that would keep consumers interested and shopping longer.

Ovation continues to design and outfit all new store locations nationally.
